Lumen's workspace felt heavy — every interaction hit the server, the bundle was bloated, and large datasets froze the tab.
Our approach

Moved querying into the browser with DuckDB-Wasm so most analysis happens locally and instantly.

Code-split aggressively and trimmed the bundle by half, lifting Lighthouse to 98.

Added real-time collaboration so teams explore the same canvas together.
The outcome
Lumen feels instant now. Interactions that took seconds are imperceptible, and the workspace scores 98 on Lighthouse across the board.
